Information overload.

Camp was amazing, exciting, entertaining, frustrating, fun, disappointing, educational, rejuvinating, and bonding for me and my horse and also with some great people.  It is NO joke that eventers are the nicest people out there.  As Peter Atkins put it "eventing is the only sport you can show up to with only you and your horse and be able to borrow everything you need to show".  Such a true statement.  So all of those things packaged into a short 4 day experience with 4 seperate trainers has my mind on overload.  It is like it all just got raveled up in my brain and I have a feeling that it is going to take me a few weeks to get it all unraveled and sort out what is the most beneficial information for me and my horse.  So the unraveling will probably take place on here over the next few weeks.  I hope to disect each lesson and slowly come up with where we go from here.

I heard things I have never heard before, I saw things I have never seen before and by far the most entertaining and hilarious of them being one of the campers and Peter Atkins riding double, bareback, with a halter and lead rope jumping the stadium course!  I have video evidence to boot!  There may have been just a little alcohol involved with that whole thing.  The food was amazing and such a huge added bonus to the camp experience.

Here is a photo teaser of some of Event Camp experience.

Sarah a bit confused about how all this horse back riding thing is supposed to work.
