I think some people are simply gifted.

I am always in awe of those that ride bridless and bareback.  I think the people that can achieve such harmony with an animal is a gift they have been given.  Though I cannot imagine the work that goes into it too.  Here is a pair that though not bridless are performing beautiful dressage movements bitless and bareback.  I stand in awe.

  2. Wow, I love this horse! I second Karen :) It's so neat to see a pair working without a double bridle at these movements.

  3. WOW..that is pretty great. Even that bitless was the most simple design, that is some major communication.

  4. That is amazing. I hope to be able to ride Poppy bareback and bridle-less one day. We can do bareback and in a halter but i don't think that counts.

  5. I occasionally ride bareback and bridleless, but it's NOT like this. I can walk, trot, canter, and whoa with basic steering. I could PROBABLY jump a cross rail. That's it.
