The Herd

We have a herd of 5 Humans, 4 horses, 3 kitties and a Corgi!

Steady Smiler

my 16 yr old 17 HH Liver chestnut OTTB.Steady had a successful racing career with almost $350,000 in winnings in his 8 years on the track and 75 starts. I adopted him in April of 2010 and we are in training to be low level eventers. This $800 horse turned out to fulfill more of my dreams than I even knew I had.

Legacy aka Lego

9 Year old Clydesdale cross gelding. He is my oldest daughter's do it all guy. In which they enjoy eventing and trail riding mostly. He I also Amy's fox hunting horse.

Lily

7 Year Old Haflinger Mare. She's been part of our familly since she was about 8 months old. We've done all of her training. If you've ever been around a Haflinger then you know what it's like. She is playful, cuddly, kind, yet smart, prone to finding trouble and always looking for her next meal. She is my middle daughter's pony and they are a matched pair.

Penny Pincher

Barn name: Penny Age: 17 Sex: Mare Height: 12 HH Penny is my youngetst daughters little pocket rocket. They both love speed and jumping. Even dressage is done at mach 10. But they do win the cuteness award.

Moonlight. 9 yr old blue roan paint gelding mutt of a horse.

He was my oldest daughter's first horse. He is currently enjoying the good life at Grampa's 20 acre farm. He is worth his weight in gold.

Low man on the totem pole is a 15 yr old(?) miniature horse.

Blaze the wonder pony! He lived on our farm until he breathed his last breath fall 2012 a very sad day indeed. He stood all of 38 inches tall with a heart just as big. He has gently taken each of my children on their first solo horseback ride and patiently and loving allowed them to 'learn' how to ride. With all the kicking, yanking and bouncing involved. You will be missed forever Blue eyed Blaze.
